As 2008 President of the Seguin Area Board of REALTORS®, 2010 TREPAC Chairman, and graduate of the Texas REALTORS® Leadership Program, Heath leads his peers in his understanding of Texas' complex real estate regulation. He attended Texas Lutheran University and graduated with a Bachelors of Art in Business in 1990. He received a Master's Degree in Elementary Education from Texas State University in 2000.

He is married to Tess Coody Anders, who is a CEO with Vanguard Health Systems. She is responsible for the new hospital development in the New Braunfels-Seguin area. The couple has three young sons and enjoy traveling, fishing, water sports, snow skiing, and of course Texas football.
